About Me
My name is Iris Schweiger, and I am currently pursuing my passion for fashion at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I am majoring in Fashion Marketing and Management and minoring in Fragrance Marketing and Management. Alongside my academic pursuits, I am a dedicated student-athlete on the SCAD Equestrian Team. Having been an avid rider since the age of seven, continuing my involvement in equestrian sports while at college felt like a natural progression.
I grew up in a small town on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I was fortunate to be surrounded by nature and the outdoors. My family instilled in me a deep appreciation for the environment, and I spent many vacations exploring national parks and hiking through forests. These early experiences shaped my values, particularly the importance of preserving the natural world.
Looking ahead, I aspire to work for an earth-conscious outdoor or activewear brand that leads the way in sustainable innovation. I am also passionate about the beauty and skincare industries, and I would love to contribute to a brand that prioritizes skin health and environmental responsibility. This spring, I am excited to begin a new chapter in my life as I relocate to Salt Lake City, Utah, where I look forward to further developing my career and exploring the vibrant outdoor lifestyle that the region offers.
